By creating an account, submitting URLs for analysis, or otherwise using Heurilens, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Heurilens.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Heurilens. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Heurilens on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information, including your name, email address, and role (Designer, Developer, Marketing, Business Owner, SEO Specialist, or UX Researcher).

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at info@heurilens.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our platform.

4. Use of Services

Permitted Use

Heurilens provides AI-powered UX analysis based on Nielsen's 10 Usability Heuristics, cognitive psychology laws, and first-time user testing methods. You may use our platform to:

• Analyze publicly accessible websites by submitting URLs
• Receive role-based insights tailored to your professional needs
• Export and share analysis reports for internal or client use
• Track UX improvements over time through re-analysis

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Submit URLs to websites you do not own or have permission to analyze
• Use Heurilens for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI algorithms
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or abuse our platform
• Overload our servers or interfere with other users' access
• Violate intellectual property rights or privacy of third parties
• Resell or redistribute our services without written permission

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of Heurilens—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, software, and analysis methodologies—are owned by Heurilens and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any URLs or data you submit for analysis. By using Heurilens, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze this data solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not claim ownership of analyzed websites or their content.

Analysis Reports

The UX analysis reports generated by Heurilens are provided for your personal or professional use. You may share or present these reports internally or with clients, but you may not resell or redistribute them as standalone products.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

Free and Paid Plans

Heurilens offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free accounts may have limited features or usage caps. Paid plans provide enhanced analysis, unlimited reports, and priority support.

Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your chosen plan. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds will be issued for unused time.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

"As-Is" Basis

Heurilens is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that our platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure. AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional UX consulting.

No Warranties

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of our analysis reports. You use Heurilens at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heurilens and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our platform.
